The story before the studio
We Didn’t Begin with an Art Shop.
We Began with Danhuang.
Danhuang came into our lives when he was only around two weeks old. We believe he was born around March 1, 2025. Since then, he has grown up in front of our cameras—and in front of a community of cat lovers on TikTok and YouTube.
We recorded the funny moments, the quiet moments, the unexpected attacks, the strange sleeping positions and the everyday routines that slowly became part of our lives.
When we looked back, we realized that these were no longer just photographs or videos. Together, they told the story of a life.
We didn’t begin with an art shop. We began with a tiny orange cat.
First · Favorite · Now / Forever
One Cat. Three Moments. A Lifetime.
The First
The first photograph, the first day or the earliest memory that began everything.
The Favorite
The expression, pose or ordinary little habit that feels completely like them.
The Now / The Forever
Celebrate who they are today—or preserve the way you want them remembered forever.
First · Favorite · Now
For the pets beside us: a physical record of their kittenhood, favorite expressions and the way they are today.
First · Favorite · Forever
For the pets we carry with us: not necessarily their final photograph, but the way you want to remember them.
@mrkcalcutecat
A Life Recorded, Not Invented.
Through @mrkcalcutecat, we have shared Danhuang’s real life from kittenhood to today. The art grew naturally from the same habit of paying attention to small moments.
Why physical art
We Wanted to Make His Memories Physical.
A video lives on a screen. A photograph holds one moment. We wanted something physical—something made slowly by hand that could hold more of Danhuang’s story.
So Cherry began exploring different ways to create him: paintings, sculpted reliefs, models and mixed-media artworks.
Danhuang will be our first complete collection. When we are ready, we hope to create the same kind of work for your pet.
We do not simply reproduce a photograph. We bring together the moments, details and expressions that made your pet yours.

The People Behind the Story
Mr Kcal
Founder, storyteller and cat dad. He records Danhuang’s life, shapes each story and guides client communication.
Cherry
Art teacher and creative director. She finds the features, composition and artistic direction that make each pet unmistakably themselves.
Danhuang
The cat who started it all. Orange cat, first muse, professional model and occasional studio disruptor.
Selected commissions may be created together with experienced artists and art educators from our studio network. The actual artist will always be credited, and every piece will be reviewed under Cherry’s creative direction.
The art
More Than One Way to Remember.
Every direction begins with a story, not a product option.
Life-Story Portraits
Hand-painted compositions that bring together multiple stages, expressions and memories.
Sculpted Reliefs
Dimensional artworks that combine portraiture, texture and physical form.
Models & Sculptures
Three-dimensional keepsakes created around the features, markings and pose that make your pet recognizable.
Legacy Collections
A coordinated collection combining painting, relief or sculpture to tell a fuller story.
Commissions begin at US$500. Final pricing depends on the selected medium, size, complexity and number of pets. International shipping is quoted separately.
Two equally important stories
For the Pets Beside Us—and the Ones We Carry Forever.
Celebrate Them Now
Create a physical record of their kittenhood, favorite expressions and the way they are today.
Remember Them Always
Honor a pet who has passed through the moments that best express their life—not simply their final days.

In creation
The First Collection: Danhuang
We will never use invented finished pieces as proof. These three works will be documented from reference photographs and sketches through to the real physical art.
