MR KCAL CAT ART brings together story, art education, creative direction and a network of experienced artists. Every proposal states who will make the work; no anonymous production claim is hidden behind the studio name.
A Storyteller, an Art Teacher and One Orange Cat

Creative direction
Cherry — Creative Director & Art Teacher
Cherry, known as Xiaotao in Chinese, has worked as an art teacher for nearly ten years, with experience in drawing, painting, composition, color and creative art education. She studies which features, gestures and relationships make the subject recognizable, then sets the artistic direction and reviews the work.
First muse
Dan Huang — The Cat Who Started It All
Born around March 1, 2025 and recorded since around two weeks old, Dan Huang is the real orange cat behind the studio’s first collection. His growing archive showed why one photograph is sometimes not enough to describe a life. Read Dan Huang’s story.
How Collaborating Artists Are Credited
Selected media may be completed with experienced artists or art educators in the studio network. The written proposal identifies the actual artist, scope and creative-direction relationship before a deposit is requested. The finished work is credited honestly; public sharing is separately controlled by the customer’s consent choice.
What the Studio Can—and Cannot—Promise Today
The commission process, pricing structure and responsibilities are published now. Finished examples will be added only when real works are complete and properly documented. We do not invent testimonials, client counts, awards or sample commissions to make a new studio appear older than it is.
