MR KCAL CAT ART

Commission Policy

Commission terms covering deposits, revisions, cancellations, handmade variation, schedules and reference rights.

Last updated July 19, 2026. This summary should be reviewed for the laws that apply to the studio and each customer before accepting live commissions.

Custom project

Every work is commissioned for one client and is not an off-the-shelf product. The written proposal identifies the medium, dimensions, subject, actual artist, creative direction, price, schedule and included review stages.

Deposit and revisions

A 50% deposit reserves studio time and begins concept development. Unless a proposal states otherwise, one consolidated round of reasonable sketch-stage changes is included. Once a sketch or concept is approved, major changes to medium, pose or composition require a revised quote and schedule.

Cancellation and refunds

Because the work is custom, amounts covering completed design, materials and committed production may not be refundable after work begins. Any project-specific cancellation terms will be stated in the proposal and must comply with applicable consumer law.

Handmade variation and schedule

Colors vary across screens, photographs and physical materials. Small handmade variations are part of the work. Timelines are good-faith estimates, not absolute guarantees; we will communicate material delays.

Reference rights and credits

You confirm that you own or have permission to provide the reference photographs. The actual artist will be credited honestly. You decide separately whether the process or finished work may be shown publicly.
